The Experience
We're going to do things a little differently from now on. I want our time together to be about you and your loved ones. I want you to look back at these photos years from now and remember the way your son would hold your finger or the way your daughter scrunched her nose when she laughed. I want you to remember how it felt holding your beautiful, big belly. I will give you prompts and directions to help guide you and then snap away as the organic interactions and moments unfold. If the children are wild, not to worry I'm a chaser and enjoy capturing the chaos!

Styling
What you wear truly makes or breaks your session! It's incredibly important to wear outfits that not just fits your style but complete the story your images you tell and that you feel amazing in!
What do I wear?
I have an beautiful Closet available for you! This includes an exclusive collection of amazing dresses, accessories and some options for the little ones.
During our styling appointment we will go through designs, colors, textures, accessories to create your perfect look. We will look for options in my Client Closet and also my favorite shops to coordinate all the outfits for your session!
Client Closet
I have an entire Closet available for browsing and borrowing! This includes an exclusive collection of amazing dresses, a few accessories and some options for the little ones. You can view the client closet pieces shown in my work.
Session Info
The time of year and the location we choose during our planning process will determine the exact time we start your session. The duration of your session will depend on what package you choose but in average 30 - 90 minutes.
My favorite lighting happens from two hours before sunset until the Golden Hour which is the hour just before the sun sets. I know this can be difficult for families with young kids and early bedtimes but I promise a little flexibility for this occasion will be worth it. Try to adjust the nap schedule that day if possible!
In home sessions are also available and the time will vary according to the light in your home.

Where will the session take place?
I have a beautiful and Cozy Studio equipped to offer you a conformable and stress-free space for you sessions!
Outdoor sessions are also available within the Saint Louis / Saint Charles areas, we will decide on that together during the planning process. It will depend on what vibe you are looking for you sessions.
Can I borrow your Client Closet pieces?
YES PLEASE! I love when our outfits are used! And I'm very happy to help you style. If you want something out of the Client Closet I will help you find the best outfit that will add your style to your photographs! Reach out to book your styling appointment!
What sizes are the dresses and will fit different body types?
Most of my gowns are made for photography sessions, they are mostly one size fits all. That means I'm able to adjust the dress to your body! That makes them a great choice for family and maternity photos.
What about partners and kids?
My go-tos for dressing the family are H&M, Gap, Old Navy, and J. Crew. For little girls, I especially love Joyfolie and Bailey’s Blossoms.
What is your reschedule policy?
The retainer is refundable unless you don't show up on the day of your session, it can also be transferred to a new date as long as we have at least a two weeks notice. Rain happens, but we will work together to move your session if need be. Cancelations and rescheduling are looked at case by case.
When can I expect to receive my photos?
Turnaround time is 2 -3 weeks for a gallery. This can fluctuate due to season but I will be sure to keep you up to date on when to expect your images!
How many photos do I get?
The amount of images you receive is entirely up to you! The Signature Digital Collection includes 10 images and the Heirloom includes 40. However, you will always have the option to add more from your preview gallery!
